I volunteer part-time at the on campus animal clinic and I love it so much. I think the students and vets can appreciate the fact that I don't leave until the work is done, rather than leave at 4:30, when the clinic closes. I try to be everywhere at once, which is stressful, but I love when a student says "thank you." I appreciate a thanks more than I do a paycheck. I want to be a veterinarian out of love for the job, not the money or anything else, and that's what matters!

Today, my boyfriend asked me out to dinner, which we never do. While at the restaurant he gets down on his knees, looks me in the eyes, and pulls out a little box. He opens it and inside is a note that says 'We're Done.' He then leaves me at the restaurant with the bill and the $2.00 box. FML
